Lauren Worth joined the Democracy Collaborative in May of 2017 as Program Associate with the Healthcare Engagement team, where she works with hospitals and health systems to improve community well-being by building inclusive and sustainable local economies. Previously, she worked for the Summit Foundation, a Washington, DC-based private foundation, where she collaborated with urban advocates, practitioners and local government officials to make cities more sustainable, livable and equitable. Lauren has a B.A. in international studies from American University, where she focused on global environmental politics.
